The appearance of flatulence can be due to different causes, what is clear is that they generate a rather annoying sensation that, sometimes, can translate into abdominal pain. How to avoid abdominal swelling naturally?
The first thing you have to take into account when combating this condition is that betting on artificial treatments is not the solution. They are much more aggressive compounds than natural remedies, which will help you get the best results without causing any damage to your body. Having said that, our wave of advice begins:
1. Of course, the first step is to make a selection of products that generate these gases. In general, flatulence usually occurs due to the consumption of certain foods. Among the most likely to originate this problem are: legumes, lactose, carbonated drinks or beer.
2. Eliminate bad habits at the table. The next precaution to consider is related to the activities you carry out during the intake. For example, eating very quickly can cause, among other problems, that you do not correctly digest food. That is, you will notice a large swelling for a long time. Chew, do not gobble!
3. Lemon and honey to avoid swelling. They are two recommended foods in those cases in which one has the certainty that one is going to suffer flatulence. They are usually indicated for people who suffer from these ailments regularly.
4. The infusions are always great allies. This section is no longer dedicated to preventing swelling, but to combat it. Chamomile and pennyroyal, for example, will help you to perform a lighter digestion, thus avoiding belly pain. With them you will be able to reduce the inflammation promoting that sensation of well-being after the ingestion.
5. Celery, a weapon against flatulence. While infusions reduce swelling but facilitate flatulence, this food is a good way to prevent belching and other leaks. Many specialists recommend the intake of celery before each meal. Better safe than sorry!
6. Cumin, anise and dill seeds. Finally, we bring you to a small group of foods that will prevent the sporadic appearance of gases. Given their high concentration of nutrients, they act as a shield on the body. You can consume them after crushing them properly and introduce them in cups or teapots with boiling water (where they should rest between five and ten minutes). Consume them after every meal!
